Individual & Family Mentoring

Supporting Families, Strengthening Communities, Nurturing Culture.

About Our Mentoring Program

At Woka Walanga, we believe strong families build resilient communities. Our Individual & Family Mentoring program provides culturally informed, strengths-based mentoring and early intervention to support Aboriginal and broader community families.

We offer tailored parenting support, early childhood development activities, and mentorship guided by Indigenous cultural traditions and local community knowledge. Our approach aims to keep families together, ensuring children grow up in safe, nurturing environments deeply connected to their cultural roots.

How It Works

1

Families or referrers contact our mentoring team to discuss their needs.

2

We meet with each family individually to understand their cultural background, strengths, challenges, and goals.

3

Together, we create a flexible, culturally respectful support plan based on family feedback and specific needs.

4

Regular mentoring sessions and workshops commence, guided by Elders, community mentors, and skilled support workers.

How to Refer or Get Support

We welcome referrals from community organisations, individuals, families, and professionals. Please reach out to our team to discuss how we can support you or someone you know.
